Deeper Richer is an education technology developer, passionate about creating great content and meaningful interactive experiences for digital learning environments.

As the use of touch screen devices and other new technology in Australian schools continues to proliferate, our drive is to create innovative and playful learning applications that help students reach a deeper and richer level of engagement with their curriculum. Our overriding goal is to help 21st century students realise their true learning capacity.

In 2013, we released the first two in a planned series of curriculum-aligned iPad apps for grade 5 & 6 students. We also continued to explore our broader interest in what shape the digital learning environments of the future will take, through our experimental Deeper Richer Labs program.


We are currently working on a suite of curriculum-aligned iPad apps for grade 5 & 6 students. The first two titles, Rough Science and Starting Shakespeare, were released in 2013, and received a very positive response from both teachers and students. Both apps are a direct response to the fact that even though more and more primary level teachers have access to iPads in their classrooms, there’s very little available in the way of quality content for those devices that’s clearly aligned to curriculum. Additional titles are set for release soon.


As well as producing iPad apps for Australian classrooms, we are also committed to exploring what the digital learning environments of tomorrow might look like, through our experimental Deeper Richer Labs program. This page offers a snapshot of two recent Labs, carried out in two different settings. We look forward to expanding the program in 2014.
